Day two was such a full day! We tried to accomplish everything left on our list for the midtown, upper east side area. First thing in the morning, Emily and I were able to get rush tickets for $40 to an 8 o'clock showing of Annie!!
After getting Broadway tickets and walking around Times Square, we made our way to Rockefeller Center.
Emily and I both had American Girl dolls growing up so naturally we had to run around the American Girl store like we were seven again!
Emily had Kit and Josefina when we were little and I also had Josefina! Once we found the historical dolls we went from case to case. Quite a few of the dolls that were around when we were little have been retired.
We worked {walked} up an appetite and decided to go to the How I Met Your Mother bar.. It was delicious and of course we had to order a draft... It was legend...wait for it...dary!
Also the New York Public Library is beautiful! Anyone who visits NYC should add it to their list
American Kennel Club is a company in NYC I am interested in working for... they also have a library solely devoted to dogs! Naturally... I went straight to the Newfoundland section :)
This row of houses is stunning, on 79th street in the Upper East Side
Who ever knew there was a castle in Central Park?! This was a beautiful find
After we explored the castle we headed back to the apartment to get ready for Annie... little did we know we would have a huge surprise about our tickets. Remember those $40 rush tickets we bought? Well they were FRONT ROW IN ORCHESTRA LEVEL SEATING!
Goodnight Y'all!
