Last NC State Game

This past Saturday was my last NC State home football game as a student! I can't believe I am already beginning my "lasts." It was a terrible game (we are having an impressive losing streak) but we all had a great time!
The boys sneakin' in this picture crack me up!
I am so blessed to have lived with these girls for my last two years of college! God definitely knew what he was doin' by bringing us together. I will forever cherish our fellowship, friendships, and late night baking!

Stay Beautiful Beaufort

This past summer I had an internship in the charming town of Beaufort, North Carolina. Once I learned that it is pronounced bow-fert not bew-fert (as in Beaufort, South Carolina), I was all set. This town captured my heart. Beaufort is a sleepy little town nestled off the North Carolina's coast on Taylor Creek. While strolling along the the waterfront, horses can be seen roaming the beaches of Shackleford Banks just across the creek. The beautiful houses have wrap-around porches and rocking chairs that sway in the salty air. Ahhh I just love it! My sister and I had the chance to go back last weekend to visit some friends...here are some of my favorites :)
Taylor and Holly dancin' in the street
Love these girls!
Huge front porches and rockin' chairs... Swoonnn
The beach is such a soothing place for my soul. I love the sand under my toes, the sound of the waves rolling onto the shore and the gulls calling overhead. Taylor and I lucked out with an unusually warm North Carolina November weekend! We had so much fun running around on the beach with little Ava :)

For the Love of Georgia

Last week flew by! Before I knew it the week was over and I was so far behind. My sister and I had such a great trip to Athens, GA for the UGA vs. LSU game. We said over and over it was by far our favorite trip and a game for the books. We spent the weekend with one of my good friends from elementary school... I love the kind of relationships that pick up right where they leave off the last time you saw each other! Needless to say we had a great time together tailgating and a great night out in Athens after the Bulldawgs defeated the Tigers!
Willie Robertson... no big deal
I am so thankful for all the wonderful memories I have of this lovely, amazing college town! I hope I only keep making more...

Saturdays Are for the Dogs

American Kennel Clubs Responsible Dog Ownership Day was today at the North Carolina State Fair Grounds. My sister and I took the opportunity to take her new pug Ava! Let me just tell you, there were dogs  e v e r y w h e r e. Dogs ranged from HUGE to tiny with breeds from Irish Wolfhounds to Ava the little black Pug.
I found a Newfoundland!! This sweet girl is named Holly and she was precious. Every time I interact with this sweet breed it only reaffirms my hope to own a Newfie someday!
We found the big dog tent outside... In the bottom left corner you can see Holly with her brown sister!

Weekend Adventures

Y'all I had an amazing weekend home with my family... It was a much needed slowdown from my hectic work and school schedule in Raleigh. My weekend adventures included Tanger Outlets, The Davidson Farmer's Market, a little league football game to cheer on Jake {a six year-old who is a part of a precious family I have grown very close to}, assisting Emily March Photography with a wedding in Charlotte {more on that later}, watching the sweetest little boy with my mom and good quality family time!
The breads were gorgeous and smelled so good!
Aren't these flowers to die for?!
The most organized little league I have ever seen :)
#1 Quarterback Jake running in for a touchdown!
Jake's sweet sisters Molly Morgan and Caroline

Hope y'all had a great weekend!
